COACHES CODE OF CONDUCT

  1. Be positive role models: Lead by example, demonstrating fair play and sportsmanship.
  2. Treat all players, parents, umpires, spectators, board members, opponents, and league officials with respect.
  3. Player development and safety takes priority over winning.
  4. Know and teach the rules of the game.
  5. Coach to the appropriate age and skill level.
  6. Set realistic expectations.
  7. Provide positive, constructive feedback.
  8. Comply with decisions of league officials and board members.
  9. Do your best to get players experience at multiple positions
  10.  Have fun.

PLAYER CODE OF CONDUCT

  1. Support your teammates, on and off the field. Pay attention to the game from the dugout
  2. Treat all players, parents, umpires, spectators, board members, opponents, and league officials with respect.
  3. Do not argue with umpires.
  4. Follow the instructions of coaches.
  5. Arrive on time for practices, meetings, and games. Provide advance notice to coaches if you cannot attend or will be late.
  6. Bullying and/or intimidation is unacceptable.
  7. Hustle on and off the field.
  8. Improve, learn. Every practice, every game
  9. Demonstrate good sportsmanship and team play at all times.
  10. Have fun.

PARENT CODE OF CONDUCT

  1. Support the players, team and the Devils Baseball Club organization.
  2. Be positive, enjoy the game and display good sportsmanship.
  3. Treat all players, parents, umpires, spectators, board members, opponents, and league officials with respect.
  4. Arrange for players to arrive on time for practices, meetings, and games. Provide advance notice to coaches if your player cannot attend or will be late.
  5. Discuss concerns, not complaints, with coaches in private.
  6. Respect the decisions of coaches and board members. They're volunteers.
  7. Family, health and school come before baseball.
  8. Do not coach your player from the stands
  9. Keep coaches informed of any safety issues involving your player.
  10. Have fun.

 

Violation of this Code of Conduct may result in suspension or expulsion from Devils Baseball Club.
