COACHES CODE OF CONDUCT
- Be positive role models: Lead by example, demonstrating fair play and sportsmanship.
- Treat all players, parents, umpires, spectators, board members, opponents, and league officials with respect.
- Player development and safety takes priority over winning.
- Know and teach the rules of the game.
- Coach to the appropriate age and skill level.
- Set realistic expectations.
- Provide positive, constructive feedback.
- Comply with decisions of league officials and board members.
- Do your best to get players experience at multiple positions
- Have fun.
PLAYER CODE OF CONDUCT
- Support your teammates, on and off the field. Pay attention to the game from the dugout
- Treat all players, parents, umpires, spectators, board members, opponents, and league officials with respect.
- Do not argue with umpires.
- Follow the instructions of coaches.
- Arrive on time for practices, meetings, and games. Provide advance notice to coaches if you cannot attend or will be late.
- Bullying and/or intimidation is unacceptable.
- Hustle on and off the field.
- Improve, learn. Every practice, every game
- Demonstrate good sportsmanship and team play at all times.
- Have fun.
PARENT CODE OF CONDUCT
- Support the players, team and the Devils Baseball Club organization.
- Be positive, enjoy the game and display good sportsmanship.
- Treat all players, parents, umpires, spectators, board members, opponents, and league officials with respect.
- Arrange for players to arrive on time for practices, meetings, and games. Provide advance notice to coaches if your player cannot attend or will be late.
- Discuss concerns, not complaints, with coaches in private.
- Respect the decisions of coaches and board members. They're volunteers.
- Family, health and school come before baseball.
- Do not coach your player from the stands
- Keep coaches informed of any safety issues involving your player.
- Have fun.
Violation of this Code of Conduct may result in suspension or expulsion from Devils Baseball Club.
