Justin Cox
Justin Cox has coached and taught individual/team baseball lessons for 10+ years at the youth, high school and college level. He has been around the game his entire life. Justin has trained athletes from 6 to 22 years old and is comfortable with the newest of baseball players to the most advanced.
Justin has coached travel baseball for the past six years in Illinois. His teams have been ranked in the top ten in Illinois, top 20 in Midwest the previous four seasons at the 9-12u levels. Justin teaches all aspects of the game, but specializes in middle infield/corner infield and hitting. Justin teaches the mental approach to the game as well as the physical fundamentals because baseball is a game of failure, so our youth needs to learn to fail forward while having fun.
Justin Cox played D1 baseball at Troy University in Alabama. He was a middle infielder that had to adapt and play the outfield as well. Justin was a High School All-State Shortstop/Second baseman in NC. He played two summers in the NECBL (Northeast Collegiate Baseball League) wood bat league and was a two-time league all-star. Justin played one year in the Coastal Plain League for the Asheboro Copperheads. Justin played 2B, 3B and RF while at Troy University.
